I developed several scanners for the entomology department at Gembloux Agro-Biotech. Initially, a planar scanner was created, but we also found it valuable to design a circular scanner, allowing detailed observation of individual insects without removing them from their collection boxes. Various prototypes were built to test this concept in real-world conditions.
I finally simplified the protoype in a hanging form.
